The Admaston Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the district. It was organized with the first trustees selected in 1859. The first burial was that of Mary Cardiff in 1842. She was buried on a high knoll on a farm owned by her father George Cardiff.
For many years this cemetery served a large district. People from as far away as Scotch Bush and Northcote were buried here.
