This cemetery is on top of a very steep hill, 1.6 Kms west of Palmer Rapids. The ground slants to the south, not much level area but it is very well maintained, although the sod has been disturbed by wild animals. This has occurred in all cemeteries in the area this year according to caretakers.

The church is below the steep hill on the flats and was constructed in 1957. Timber was secured from the Department of Lands and Forests, cut and trucked by members of the congregation.

The first church was built in 1890, with approximately 15 members. Before this services were held in the home of Christian BUDARICK (#68). Mr. August BOEHME (#48) was the first class leader for the new church of 1890.

In 1922, a new and larger church was built on top of the hill across from the cemetery, which served the congregation until 1957 when the present building was erected.

Although the church was formed in 1890, there are no tomb-stones dating back to that era. The oldest stone at this time is dated 1907.

The grounds are kept by the church members.
