Early Families …
Our Lady of the Angels Parish
Brudenell, Ontario
150th Anniversary
1858 – 2008
by
Bernadette Burbage

In the 1850’s the building of the Ottawa and Opeongo Colonization Road brought settlers into the new townships laid out along it.
Villages grew up around the “stopping places.” One of these was Brudenell.
At the core of the village was the parish church, where our ancestors celebrated the main events of their lives.
This book attempts to record these events for over 100 families who made this parish and township their home.
