MORIARTY
Kelly Allan Joseph

This single stone is on the private property of Gerry MORIARTY, in a large field on a sloping hill approximately 4.2 Kms from Quadeville going east.

The property is newly fenced and three gates are installed. This young boy was killed in a traffic accident near Eganville. His grandfather petitioned the necessary governments, in order to have the burial take place on this private property.

“His funeral service took place in Pembroke on March 9, 1990. On June 2, 1990 Kelly was laid to rest in the newly founded Moriarty Family Memorial Cemetery located on the family estate in Brudenell Township.

Pastor Metzger performed this service as well as the blessing of the cemetery, which he named “Heaven’s Little Acre” – Our first Angel laid to rest.

His headstone is adorned with the family emblem’s eagle and his graduation picture is done in porcelain” – from his obituary as it appeared in the Eganville Leader, Wednesday, October,
31, 1990.

This cemetery record contains a map with the location of the headstones shown. It also contains headstone inscriptions.
