A very small, old church but still used for services in the summertime. In the winter months services are held in Killaloe at the Church of the Ascension. These two churches share the cemetery at St. John’s in Tramore.

The church was built in 1900 of a frame structure and was faced with cement blocks in 1929. This building was preceded by a church put up in 1885 on a property donated the previous year by William James FOY.

The first clergyman was Rev. R.D. MILLS of Eganville. Also clergy of the Presbyterian and Methodist churches soon alternated services with Mr. Mills and this arrangement continued until 1927. (from Pioneer Reminiscences of the Upper Ottawa Valley by Rev. Ernest Lloyd LAKE, BA, LTH, 1967).

The cemetery is very level with sandy soil, treeless but well cared for.
