Mrs Benjamin Buffett

An estimable woman passed away in Victoria Hospital Renfrew on Tuesday last in the person of Elizabeth Troke, wife of the late Benjamin Buffett. Deceased lady was in her 88th year. She was born at Garta, Newfoundland, was married 65 years ago and came to Renfrew 10 years later. Mrs. Buffett was a woman of many fine qualities and her friends were numerous. The funeral was largely attended and was from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Troke, Bonnechere Street with interment in Thomsonville Cemetery, Rev. Howard B. Neal, conducted the service.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Buffett, Mrs. John Brooks, Mrs. William Grant all of Detroit, Miss Annie Buffett of Toronto, and Miss M. Buffett of Renfrew, two sons Fred of Hamilton, Archie of North Bay one brother William Troke of Toronto. Expressions of sympathy and floral tributes were numerous.
